Oral formulations of vancomycin and colistin are classified in this group as they are used in enterocolitis. Parenteral formulations of vancomycin are classified in J01XA - Glycopeptide antibacterials, and of colistin in J01XB - Polymyxins. Most of the combined products containing more than one antibiotic, contain neomycin. Neomycin is given classification priority, thus all combined products containing neomycin and other antibiotics should be classified in A07AA51 - neomycin, combinations.
